June 18th Build day

Hello All,

Last Saturday we had a glorious terrain day. The sun was up the temperature was perfect and NO RAIN! The turnout was better than the Evite led on so it was a good thing Mr. Brandt (Mike to his friends) brought extra Chow.

Progress was made of some of the more projects of 2016 (I am talking about the house project) Currently there are only 6 untouched houses left out of 60 to 70 we started with!

We were even able to prime a bunch of them as well!

The Ships are coming along. this was a much lengthier task than we originally thought, but we are in the home stretch! (Thanks JT for all the help!)

One had to be yellow!

The fences and walls for Malifaux, Warmachine, and Infinity are coming along nicely (we made and are painting 180 fence sections.)

Lastly the water features for Warmachine were cut out and shaped.

Thanks Eric and Blake!

The Grub- What can I say. Simply perfect for a near summer afternoon. Mike brought Brats (Spicy and mild) and burgers (normal and Jalapeno) with cold beer and all American Cupcakes!

This was a great day- The next one may be even better!

The only way to find out is to show up!

Out of cycle build day June 4 2016

Hello All,

Yesterday rather than have our monthly board meeting we decided to have an extra terrain day to help us stay on track! Since it was on such short notice the turnout was smaller than normal but those that showed were amazing. A large amount of work was completed. fences were painted, Houses were built, and all the hills made so far are ready for the table.

Check out the pictures

In all Quite a productive day.

The next terrain day will be the 18th of June. There is still much to do and fun to be had so if you are in the area try to swing by. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Terrain Day May 21st 2016

Hello All,

Another build session down. Well done today everyone who showed up.Those that didn't missed out on a lot of fun. We continued work on the house project and made more progress on the Ships for Sigmar. There was some Airbrushing and tree base cutting as well. The rain slowed us down but could not dampen our spirit! We had Chinese food for lunch from Wok and Roll- which lead to some great Fortune Cookie humor. There was also a period where the discussion was actually on Warhammer Fantasy 7th and 8th editions!

Here are the highlights

Viking ships underway

Trim the sails forget that lets trim the ship!

Houses, houses, and more houses

Still more houses

There was limited airbrushing

Winter Hills underway

Prepping for outside work

Getting the Tree bases cut out

Painting the tree bases

The Next build session is officially on June 18th but another may be fit into June and possibly July to make sure everything gets done! B.O.L.O for an announcement.

Thanks again,
